Brimming with potential.

This piece shows great potential. While the graphics weren't the best, the animation makes up for that, seeing as the animation is smooth coherent, and one hundred percent amusing. The content and story line was good aswell. I look forward to seeing more submissions from you, you seem like you have potential to be a great animator.

Okay.

A "light hearted" response to obvious negative critism. I must admit, it was a pretty stupid excuse to spit out another one of these cartoons.

When you first launched this series, I found it to be something refreshing and new, I was also proud to see that you had dropped AFD and that you were doing something original, I didn't care that the graphics were poor, that you took countless shortcuts, or that the animation wasn't any good, because like you said in this movie, it's not your fault that the Newgrounders over-rate your movies, and you certainly don't ask for the awards you get -- but when you started selling merchandise, by what? the third episode? I realised that you were just trying to exploit an original idea to make money off of merchandise; for all I know, you may not make much money off of your merchandise, but anyone who considers himself to be an artist wouldn't sell out like this, especially for something that has such a minimal amount of effort invested into it.

Great exhibition of new skills and techniques, good plot (although short) plentiful, yet subtle humour, and good animation. All around nice job, captain!

Not bad at all.

This piece shows great potential. I'll admit, the artwork and animation wasn't the best (although it shows great potential for improvement), but the story was good and consistant and the jokes were solid. The sound quality was a little low, but sometimes that can't be helped. Good work with this, good luck with your future work.

Thanks a ton, man. The animation will improve for the next one (more frame by frame next time). Glad you enjoyed the writing though, that's the most important part to me.

Generally bad . . .

Although that can be said of any sprite movie, this was generally unamusing, disjointed, and generally low in quality. This will undoubtedly pass judgement, seeing as video game parodies and sprite movies will always score much higher than they should, but that, by no means makes it a coherent submission or deserving of a place on Newgrounds. If I were you, I'd open up flash, and start to practice drawing, until I was capable of creating something original.
